About

The Power of the purple crayon

When I was in first grade I read Crockett Johnson's "Harold and the Purple Crayon" and fell in love with the story. My parents would take me to the Chicago Public Library and I'd borrow the book over and over until one day I discovered, much to my dismay, someone else had checked it out. Ultimately I began reading other books, but I never forgot about my precious "Harold."

As a storyteller in advertising my mission is to write a story so compelling that it's worth revisiting over and over, just as "Harold" was for me. I concept and craft each word I write to manifest into a story with meaning, creating something others will appreciate so deeply they'll remember it, share it, and want to revisit.
